ah friend, let me tell you about trash!john. he’s basically canon john. ok, you know:

- how when john first met mrs hudson he shouted at her “DAMN MY LEG”

- how john flirts with every single thing that walks and breathes (anthea, irene’s minion, lyons, sarah, sherlock, etc)

- how he acts when someone as much as breathes the same air as sherlock

- how he admitted he found the mayfly man’s tactic to be clever just after he got married

- also how during his honeymoon instead of having sex with his wife all over the place, he keeps checking his blog

- how he got jealous of janine and wouldn’t let the matter go even after sherlock started telling him about a case

well, how he is himself? that’s trash!john

ok, so on to a more serious note… “trash!john” is a term some people use to talk about how john is problematic but we love him anyway. some love the term, others hate it, and it’s fine for everyone to have their opinion, so that’s that. by the way i tag everything related to this with ‘trash john’ if anyone wants to blacklist it :)
